Biography： Yao-Hsiang Yang received his B.Sc. in Computer Science, B.A. in Sociology and M.Sc. in Computer Science from National Taiwan University and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rice University. He joined South China Normal University (SCNU) after working briefly at Rice University as a post-doctoral researcher. His current research interests include programming languages theory (especially semantics and type theory), machine learning and image processing.
